Turns out Usher’s still a mama’s boy.
The R&B hitmaker has dumped Hollywood power broker Benny Medina and rehired mom Jonnetta Patton as his manager, E! News has exclusively learned.
Sources say the Medina split is a direct result of poor management and disappointing record sales for the team’s first and only collaboration, Here I Stand.
“He’s leaving Benny. The record is pretty stiff, and nowhere nearly as successful as Confessions,” an insider says of the singer’s 2004 blockbuster album.
Confessions was a worldwide sensation, selling 19 million copies under the supervision of Patton. The site is going to be back to updating soon. My house is having MAJOR internet problems, and I am also in the process of moving. SO when I’m done with all that offline business, you will get your updates just how you like them….FRESH!
I would just like to formally ask Erica to stop stealing from our site. I mean its hard enough to have a reliable source for Usher with a mega site like USHERFOREVER.COM, so you can see why it irritates me to no end when you crop our tag off our images and place them on your site. Shortly after I posted the essence scans, they showed up on your site. Proof:

The Grammy Award winning singer and philanthropist, along with his foundation “New Look”, revisited the Mississippi Gulf Coast to continue the work he began in 2005 after Hurricane Katrina. ‘Usher’s New Look’ along with’Trustmark National Bank’, ‘Visions of Hope’, and ‘Beau Rivage Resort and Casino’ announced a partnership to offer home replacement and renovation benefits to employees who owned homes that were destroyed significantly by the destructive hurricane. Through this year’s program, 80-100 families are expected to be supported through a housing initiative that provides homebuyer and financial education, training and counseling to displaced employees. The announcement took place during a kick-off rally before 1,500 Beau Rivage employees. Since its inception, ‘New Look’ has provided assistance to over 750 families throughout the New Orleans region with rent and utility assistance. The Rally was held at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi.
Usher ended his vist on the Gulf Coast at the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans, LA to meet with medical professionals including LSU Health Science Center and US Doctors for Africa, to better understand the health care crisis facing youth in New Orleans and the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
